Planning an awesome trip starts with good communication. We'll chat about what you want from your travels, what parts of planning you enjoy (or don't!), and how we can team up to make your trip unforgettable.
Your first 30-minute chat with me won't cost a dime. It's a chance for us to see if we're a good match and for you to see what I can do for you.
If we click, by the end of our chat, I'll give you a rough idea of what my planning services will cost. You'll get a detailed breakdown when I show you your first itinerary. I'll ask for a $100 commitment fee at that point. Paying this tells me you're ready to roll, and I'll get cracking on your plans!
For budgeting, I usually charge around $50 per day of your trip that I plan. So, for a two-week Euro trip, you're looking at around $300 to $400 (plus the $100 commitment fee).
What am I especially good at? Creating a unique travel itinerary for an efficient trip. Efficiency means more time to enjoy what it is you want to enjoy, whether it means more time to relax or to experience the unexpected.
You many want to cruise (ocean or river), go on a guided land tour, or (like most of my clients) do it on your own, I am here to help you create an outstanding experience and cherished memories.
While I have (and do) travel a fair amount, I haven't been everywhere or done everything. But, as an agent with 1000 Mile Travel Group and Virtuoso, I have enormous resources at my fingertips and can tap into my network to help provide professional insights and recommendations beyond my personal experience.
You can check out some of the places I have visited at my Virtuoso profile, or read some of my travel musings about my recent travels (below).
We booked a few of our own elements, while Nicole put together lodging and most of our transportation between multiple locations in Switzerland and Italy. She kept us updated with changes, and the app we used for accessing our itinerary was so convenient. Her advice and suggestions were great! Thanks, Nicole!
My family really put her through it, and she never lost her compassion and willingness to work hard to make an amazing trip for my family! I cannot recommend her enough!
I just wanted to let you know what a terrific job you have been doing for our family and we are so so very pleased with everything you have helped us with.
Given we are new to cruising, we had so many many questions, and you never failed to follow up and did so quickly. And we changed our minds a lot, which made it rather confusing for you.
Your suggestions were really helpful and we could tell you really knew what you were doing.
We will gladly recommend you to our friends and family if they are looking for travel help.
We had SUCH a fabulous time. We both felt extremely well-prepared and still with plenty of freedom to change gears. We loved the hotel — very comfy and friendly with excellent breakfasts and the convenience of having the tube station right across the street shouldn't be minimized. Massively convenient. Thank you for all of your guidance.
We had the most amazing time and I can't thank you enough for all your help! Everything went so smoothly, it was a dream.
We can’t thank you enough for everything. We took advantage of nearly all of your recommendations and it was so great to just consult the itinerary every day, pick an option without decision fatigue, and head on out to spend the day exploring.
We will definitely share our experience working with your with friends and will be sure to hit you up for the next getaway!
Travel Musings
Embarking on the journey of a lifetime, Machu Picchu was a distant dream that suddenly became a reality. It all started when my daughter accepted a study abroad opportunity in southern Chile. As we pondered the idea of exploring South America, a friend suggested Peru. Coincidentally, on the same day, an email arrived from a Peruvian guide promoting an enticing trip. Without hesitation, we found ourselves on a remarkable adventure from Lima to the shores of Lake Titikaka, immersing ourselves in Incan ruins and the vibrant culture of Peru. But the true highlight was Machu Picchu itself. Nestled amidst the Andean mountains, its beauty was beyond words. Our pilgrimage to this ancient wonder left an everlasting impression, reminding us of the profound impact of travel on the soul. As we bid farewell to Peru, we carried with us cherished memories and a renewed sense of wonder for the world around us.
Travel Musings
My recent trip to Cabo for a travel industry conference was an absolute whirlwind of experiences! From touring a variety of top-notch hotels to networking with fellow agents and suppliers, every moment was filled with excitement and learning.
During our stay, we had the pleasure of immersing ourselves in the beautiful surroundings of the Grand Fiesta Americana and the Hyatt Ziva. These properties not only offered unparalleled comfort but also showcased the epitome of hospitality.
Unsurprisingly, the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal was stunning yet exuded a charmingly quaint atmosphere. The attention to detail and personalized service truly set it apart.
Among the other properties we explored, there were several that left a lasting impression. From the sophisticated ambiance of Le Blanc to the indulgent experience at Grand Velas and the culinary delights of Nobu, each hotel offered a unique perspective on luxury.
Of course, Cabo's beauty extended beyond the walls of these resorts. We were treated to stunning views and pristine beaches at properties like Sandos, Breathless, Hard Rock, and Paradisus, each offering its own brand of relaxation and adventure.
Overall, my time in Cabo was a perfect blend of professional development and leisure. The destination not only provided invaluable insights into the travel industry but also served as a reminder of the allure of world-class hospitality in a breathtaking setting.
Travel Musings
My family celebrated the new year from Isla Holbox in Mexico. Isla Holbox is a beautiful island located off the northeastern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico.
The island is known for its pristine, white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Holbox has a laid-back and tranquil atmosphere, making it a popular destination for those seeking a more relaxed and less crowded experience compared to some of the more developed tourist areas in the region, and we can vouch for that.
The are no paved roads, only sand and crushed shell streets that don't handle rain well. They were pretty rutted and flooded, making getting around challenging. However, the lack of cars means you usually walk or take an ATV-style taxi. But since it is only a few blocks to get anywhere, we tip-toed our way around the mini-lakes, and enjoyed glimpses of daily life as we passed women making tortillas, kids playing soccer, and people enjoying the holiday with family and friends.
Getting here, and getting around, is a bit of an adventure, but I'd come back if I was visiting the Yucatán again, perhaps to visit Chichén Itzá some day.

This handsome chap is my favorite bag. It is a Travelpro Maxlite and is easy to wrangle, holds a lot, and can hold my laptop bag on the telescoping handle.
